How fast do alerts hit my Discord? +

Median latency from price change → ping in your channel is under 4 seconds. Cookgroup tier runs on a dedicated lane and clocks in under 1 second consistently.

Speed is the entire product. If we slip, you'll see it in the channel before we do.

How many leads will I actually see per day? +

It depends on your filters. Unfiltered, the firehose is 12,000–15,000 leads per day across all six retailers. Most members narrow to their state + categories they flip and end up with 80–200 high-quality alerts daily.

You can adjust the discount floor, store radius, brand list and category whitelist live — no need to re-onboard.

Is this allowed? Is it a bot? +

No automated checkout, no add-to-cart bots, no resale of retailer data. Star Monitors only reads publicly available pricing the same way a customer with a phone would — at the speed and scale a customer cannot.

What if a deal is gone by the time I get there? +

Every lead carries a last-seen timestamp and a per-store stock signal. The dashboard sorts by freshness by default, and stale items get a "cold" pill so you know to call ahead.

For high-velocity clearance (Safety 1st, STEM, Clorox), the window is usually 6–24 hours before the rack clears in a metro.

Can I cancel anytime? Is there a trial? +

Not yet — every retailer we track is US-based, and store-locator + barcode data is US-only at launch. We're scoping Canada (Home Depot, Costco, Canadian Tire) for the next rollout.

Cookgroup ($249/mo) includes 50 seats, the white-label Discord bot, priority delivery, and CSV exports. Best for paid Discord communities running it for their members.

What if I want to add a retailer you don't track? +

That's what the Custom Package is for. We've onboarded new retailers in as little as three weeks. Email us with the retailer, the categories you care about, and rough seat count and we'll quote it.

Do you sell my data or my route? +

No. We don't share, sell or rent any member data, watchlist, or search history. Aggregate trend numbers in our marketing copy are anonymized and rounded.
