If Star Monitors isn’t earning its keep in your first week, we refund the full amount. No retention call, no questions.

The short version. If Star Monitors isn't pulling its weight in your first week (Solo) or first two weeks (Cookgroup), email us and we'll refund the full amount. No retention call, no questions.

1 · Solo plan ($29/mo)

New Solo subscribers have a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you contact us at billing@starmonitors.com within 7 calendar days of your first charge, we will refund the full $29 to your original payment method within 5 business days.

The guarantee covers your first paid month only. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future charges.

2 · Cookgroup plan ($249/mo)

New Cookgroup subscribers have a 14-day money-back guarantee. The longer window reflects the time it takes to onboard seats and start receiving pings in your members' channels.

The same conditions apply: contact billing@starmonitors.com within 14 calendar days of your first charge to request a full refund.

3 · Custom packages

Custom packages, including bespoke retailer integrations, dedicated infrastructure, and enterprise SLAs, are governed by the individual statement of work signed between you and Star Monitors. Refund terms are specified there.

4 · Cancellation and proration

When you cancel a subscription, access continues through the end of the current billing period. We do not prorate unused days on a monthly subscription — but you also are not charged anything further.

If you cancel due to a service outage of more than 48 hours within a single billing cycle, contact us — we will prorate or extend at our discretion.

5 · Chargebacks

Before you initiate a chargeback with your bank, email billing@starmonitors.com. We resolve almost every billing dispute the same business day, and a chargeback costs both of us money.

Accounts with an active chargeback are suspended until the dispute is resolved.

6 · How to request a refund

  1. Email billing@starmonitors.com from the address on your account.
  2. Include your account email and the date of the charge.
  3. You don't need to explain why — but if you have feedback, we read every reply.

You should see the refund reflected on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
